Rexecode is a private macroeconomic research and forecasting institute founded in 1957. Its members include businesses, professional associations, and public bodies.
Rexecode is a french private economic institute which has been serving economic information and business development for 65 years.
Rexecode is funded by its members and clients: large corporations, SMEs, financial institutions, and professional or public organizations. Their diversity guarantees our independence and freedom of judgment. We do not receive any public subsidies.
Our expertise in economic analysis serves three complementary missions:
1- An exclusive economic analysis service dedicated to businesses
Rexecode provides members with regular analyses of the global economic situation and for major countries and regions, as well as financial and commodity markets, with particularly in-depth monitoring of France. Rexecode produces reasoned short term economic forecasts every quarter (medium term once a year) at the world, major regions and countries level.
2- A participant in the public debate on economic policy in France
Rexecode actively participates in the public debate on economic policy thanks to the financial support of its sponsors. Our work focuses primarily on the evaluation of the impact of economic policies on the French economy, analysis of the production system and the conditions of its competitiveness, and the definition of economic reforms favorable to strong, sustainable and job-creating growth.
3- An economic perspective on climate policies and the energy transition
Launched in 2020 by seven founding members (businesses and professional associations), the Energy-Climate division aims to inform the public on the economic challenges of climate change and the decarbonization objectives by 2050. It produces greenhouse gas emission projections for France and major regions. It assesses the main levers for action in terms of cost-effectiveness and explains the challenges and opportunities in terms of industrial competitiveness and low-carbon technologies.
